I have always been interested in painting and drawing. When living in America, I studied the fascinating Amish style of patchwork quilting. On returning to Australia, I created a number of patchwork quilts and taught the Amish style of quilting for several years. This helped me to design aesthetically pleasing images. My paintings certainly derive their shape, colour and form from my patchwork quilting. When I lived in Adelaide, I started painting with acrylics which suits my detailed and naive approach.
I have sold my paintings through galleries, several successful exhibitions and, more recently, through private commissions.
I was wondering if the painting called pastorate is still for sale.
I live in Brisbane, could you let me know the price to get it I closing postage.
I love your style and have already a couple of your paintings I bought in the Queenscliffe art gallery 🙂
